Puppy Mills
I don't think people understand the harm that they are doing if they adopt a puppy from a puppy mill. I know, because even I have experienced adopting a puppy from one. I was a little girl then, so I didn't understand the importance of adopting from the right place. I had adopted a little female Brittany Spaniel and our family loved her a lot. But my other dog that we had already had, didn't like her and they would fight a lot, so we decided to let another couple adopt her because we couldn't handle two dogs at once. One of the other reasons we couldn't keep her was because she had major hip issues, partially because most Brittany's can get it but probably increased by the puppy mill. So my words of advice don't adopt from a puppy mill. You may think your'e saving the dog, but your just supporting the person who runs the puppy mill.
