Puppy Mills

I don't think people understand the harm that they are doing if they adopt a puppy from a puppy mill. I know, because even I have experienced adopting a puppy from one. I was a little girl then, so I didn't understand the importance of adopting from the right place. I had adopted a little female Brittany Spaniel and our family loved her a lot. But my other dog that we had already had, didn't like her and they would fight a lot, so we decided to let another couple adopt her because we couldn't handle two dogs at once. One of the other reasons we couldn't keep her was because she had major hip issues, partially because most Brittany's can get it but probably increased by the puppy mill. So my words of advice don't adopt from a puppy mill. You may think your'e saving the dog, but your just supporting the person who runs the puppy mill. For example these are just some pictures that show what a puppy mill may look like:

These are  some really severe cases of animal cruelty at a puppy mill. So keep your eyes peeled for any signs of puppy mills anywhere.

Pitbulls

Pitbulls. One of the most misunderstood breeds of dog. This breed is thought to always be aggressive, mean, and very lethal. In some cases this is true. But a Pitbull is only aggressive, mean or lethal for a reason. This breed is very strong, which is sometimes a problem but Pits only attack if they're scared or provoked. The problem is if a Pitbull does attack, it can be lethal because of their instincts and strength. Some other dogs are aggressive too. One of my former dogs was attacked by a Jack Russell Terrier at almost 12 years old and survived. But to single out an entire breed and say that every dog of that breed is aggressive? Terrible. I heard from the show "Pitbulls and Parolees" that in Denver, they decided to ban Pitbulls from that city. They would go house to house and if you had a Pitbull, they'd take it away and kill it. I know some people don't think Pitbulls are bad like me, but to those to do think their bad, they are just like any other dog.

I when on a walk with a childhood friend around our neighborhood to look for some stray dogs and feed them. Wee did find some and here are some pictures. Anyway, we have to help them. How would you feel if you were thrown on the street or even born there?

I don't understand why people own kill- shelters.
They don't put homeless people into kill shelters, so why do the put animals in them?
These pictures are of dogs at kill shelters:

Here are some photos of animals that are not in kill shelters:

Cars

Here is something I'm thinking about today.

         Cars Are Not Nice!

I mean they're useful, but hurt the environment a lot.
Look at the earth, ice melting, it's awful just thinking about it!
What can I do about it?

Not Just Meat

When I was going to camp today and we were coming back from swimming, my friend and I were talking about something when she said, "Have you ever tried fish eggs?"I am a vegetarian from birth so I of course said"Ewwwww fish eggs? Yuck!" And she said"Well it's normal because you're a vegetarian. And if you weren't a vegetarian, you would think it was good." Then I said"I guess so"
Then she said something I couldn't believe, she said"to most other people, a cow is just meat."
I was shocked.
Once again look at these poor, innocent animals

I know what I said about eating fish eggs were wrong,
but I have to say that what she said was one of the worst things I have ever heard....
